The Villages of Field Dalling and Saxlingham

Field Dalling  is a village and civil parish in North Norfolk It sits 6.87 miles north west of Holt.    It falls within the administrative area of North Norfolk District Council.

Field Dalling with Saxlingham Parish Council


Field Dalling and Saxlingham Parish Council is made up of 7 councillors with councillors from both villages. Each council is elected for a four year period and elections were last held in May 2019 with elections coming up in May of 2023.

The Parish Council is the third tier of local government the other two being North Norfolk District Council and Norfolk County Council.

Meeting Information


​The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Wednesday 12th April at the Villagers Hall, this will follow the ANNUAL PARISH MEETING which commences at 6.30pm.  Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings and  a short period of time is given for the public to air their views on matters directly related to the Parish Council.

What We Do

The Parish Council is responsible for:

  • upkeep of the common

  • the play area

  • commenting on planning applications

  • the village notice board

  • general maintenance around the village
